Much like the saying “it takes a village to raise a child,” busy bloggers such as myself know that extra hands can make your life much easier. This page will serve as a running compilation of the sources I utilize to make this blog the best it can be. Putting a blog together entails much more than simply posting; if you engage the services of virtual assistants, webmasters and other professionals, you can devote your time to blogging instead of administration. Yes, all of this costs money, but for those invested in developing a blog as a business, it is essential to have resources such as these at your disposal. Professionalizing your blog/website in this manner will ensure that your virtual appearance reflects your appearance in the real world as well as the values of your personal brand. It is important in the initial development and branding of your site in addition to its ongoing maintenance. No man is an island!

Here are the partners and resources I leverage:

1. Lindze B of | Webmaster

Lindze is a jack of all media trades. Holding a degree in Video Production and over ten years of web and graphic design under her belt, she has a seasoned taste for web trends and social media movements. Some of the most notable brands and personalities she’s worked with include Hanes®, Ocean Cosmetics, Kristin Chenoweth, Kristin Davis, Jeremy Roenick, Melanie Brown, TJ Oshie, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Mircea Monroe and many more.

2. Zirtual | Virtual Assistance

Started in 2011, Zirtual provides dedicated, US-based assistants to busy professionals. With plans starting at $97/month, Zirtual offers delegation heaven. Assistants can tackle pretty much any task you come up with, but I turn to Zirtual for editing, appointment scheduling, and management of healthcare claims. Each assistant’s goal is to provide “epic customer service” to their clients.

3. Fancy Hands | Virtual Assistance

Fancy Hands offers non-dedicated assistants starting at $25/mo. Tasks are forwarded to a team of assistants ready to work for you. I use Fancy Hands for research and documentation, making phone calls on my behalf, and locating graphics for my blog posts.

4. Fiverr | Content Graphic Development

Fiverr is a great way to get necessary things done at a cheap price. You’d be surprised to see what folks are willing to do for $5! With regards to this site, I turn to Fiverr for graphics and multimedia work. I’m quite pleased with the results I received!
